What is it?
The symbolic language for welds on technical drawings: weld type, size, length, field welds and finishing. Reading it independently is the boundary between a welder/fitter and a supervised helper.

Roles where the candidate worked directly from drawings (workshop fabrication, assembly) — ask references to confirm independent drawing work.
