EN 13670 · ISO 17660Construction

EN 13670 — execution of concrete structures (+ ISO 17660 rebar welding)

What is it?

The European standard for building concrete structures correctly: formwork, reinforcement placement per drawings, pouring, curing and tolerances. ISO 17660 additionally governs welding of reinforcing steel.

What evidence should a candidate have?

Vocational diploma or NPK, project references naming the structure type and the candidate's role, work-at-height and scaffold certificates.

Why it matters for staffing

Separates a rebar worker or formwork carpenter who builds from drawings independently from a general labourer — the difference clients pay for.
