What is it?

EU law: anyone driving trucks C/C+E professionally needs the initial qualification plus 35 hours of periodic training every 5 years. Compliance is marked as “95.DD.MM.YY” next to the category on the driving licence.

What evidence should a candidate have?

Driving licence showing code 95 with a future date next to C/C+E, plus the driver qualification card where issued separately.

Why it matters for staffing

A C+E driver without valid code 95 may not drive commercially in the EU — the single fastest disqualifier when screening drivers.
